Before coming to Fairfax Jiu Jitsu, I wanted to do Mixed Martial Arts and looking for the right studio was similar to a company looking for a new employee. Fairfax JJ had the best resume when I was doing my research. The training is great, the workout is hard, but I have a fun time doing it. I started Martial Arts training when I was 8 years old, but that training did not give me joy. At FJJ, I enjoy coming to class every day. The coaches will be there to mentor and guide you and give you direction to the highest level of detail.
At previous Martial Arts studios, I met students that had a big ego and thought they were better than all. At Fairfax Jiu Jitsu there is no ego and there is a sense of family, community, and pride in taking care of each other. The coaches treat everyone the same whether you just started or have trained for years.
I train in BJJ and Muay Thai; both programs are outstanding. Bottom line: If you want a great workout, training to learn great skills while having fun at the same time, Fairfax Jiu Jitsu is the place to go. It is a great investment.
