FJJ’s yoga program includes two types of yoga, Power Yoga and Restorative Yoga. Playful yet powerful and challenging, vinyasa style Power Yoga is great in the morning to start your day with positive energy. The power yoga classes provide a more physical practice by connecting breath to movement while flowing through poses, and encourages finding balance through stability by increased focus through awareness of breath. The healing Restorative Yoga classes align the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time to deeply and gently stretch out the connective tissue resulting in the release of any tension and tightness. Restorative yoga also triggers the parasympathetic nervous system which calms and sets the tone for a relaxing state for the mind and body to be still. Join us!
